Surgery - Low Cost Spays and Neuters

Summerfields Animal Hospital is very competitive in price for our surgical procedures including elective spay and neutering. 

Our services include a full pre-anesthetic physical exam and risk assessment by the doctor. We provide IV catheterization and fluid therapy to support organ perfusion and function while under anesthesia. We provide external heat support while your pet is anesthetized as thermoregulation is important to any anesthetized patient.

At Summerfield, we utilize state of the art anesthesia protocols and delivery to include utilizing a respiratory ventilator, gas anesthesia, pre- and intra-operative pain relief.

Individual anesthetic monitoring is performed by a dedicated surgical nurse with advanced equipment to include EKG, Blood pressure, Pulse Oximetry and Core Body Temperature.

We also provide individual postoperative recovery monitoring and nursing care to ensure the safety of all of our patients.

Vaccinations are required to be current include rabies, Da2ppv, leptospirosis and kennel cough for dogs, rabies and FVRCP for cats. If vaccinations are not current and need to be completed, the physical exam fee will NOT be waivered.
